The microphone mounts on the instrument by means of a soft Velcro cinching strap.  There is no need to stick a patch of Velcro on the instrument.

Construction:  Plastic covered copper with rubber mount.
Connection :  1.2m lead to Gold plated phono.
Mic element:;   Omni directional electret
Frequency response :  30Hz - 20kHz.
